    Fuel Filter Soft Lines

I'm replacing my fuel filter soon, and obviously the soft lines around it have seen better days. I'm pretty sure you can buy specific made hoses that have the tight radius bends, but I happen to have some straight fuel line. Has anyone replaced these lines before normal hose? Any trouble with kinking ect. ? Thanks

Just leave enough length so the radius is not too small and make sure it won't rub against anything. I'd also suggest you get the proper hose soon as you really don't want to take chances with fuel lines

I'm not really in any rush, none of the lines are leaking or anything like that. Would you suggest I just wait until I can order the proper hose? Thanks

I go by the principal of do it right do it once so yes order the hoses if time is not an issue. I think I paid $6 for the little U shaped ose and at least on some models the fuel filter bracket has 3 rubber mounts that you should check. You def don't want one of those to let go when you are driving.
