e30 steering pump pulley - spacers?

I'm diving into my first timing belt change and noticed that the steering pump pulley seems to be a bit wobbly. It looks like the belt is slightly angled and bending ever so slightly.

Is it possible to adjust the alignment? Are there spacers for pulleys?

    Or is this kinda normal?

I noticed the same thing when I recently replaced my timing belt. Seems to work OK but does look odd.

They do float fore and aft in my experience, but I have never had an issue in 22 years driving E30 cars
