Crankshaft Flywheel / Pres Plate Bolt Hole Mount Stripped Out?

My b27 crankshaft's flywheel / pressure plate mounting hole is stripped out.

    I just removed the crank.

    Wonder what my options are?

    1.? new crankshaft (obvis)
    2. helicoil the stripped out threads and then the hole on the opposite side for balance
    3. bigger bolts ?

    thanks

You mean, one of the bolts that holds the flywheel to the crank has stripped???
    That's pretty unusual.

Yes, it could be helicoiled/timeserted. I wouldn't bother doing the other side- metal's metal,
and that close to the center of rotation, it won't be enough to matter.

Yipes. I'd use new crank bolts in this case.

Yeah, I can imagine if it was gorilla's enough to strip a bolt, other bad things may have happened, too...
