Car try's to start as soon as I put the battery in with no key.

Hey guys I've been putting my m20 back together and I've run into an issue. When I try and put the battery in the car it sparks and it sounds like the starter is kicking on. Is it possible the starter is wired wrong I took a picture I put both the thick red wire from the harness and the thick black wire from the fire wall on the big post is this right? Also I took a photo of the power block too I need to get this thing done so any help is appreciated

With the wires off and the batt connected I'd check the polarity of each. Usually red and black are opposites.
Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com

Fixed it, power was arcing from the two big wires to the 8 mm wire, if this happens to you bend the two big wires forward a bit for clearance

Great! I believe both big wires do go on the big post. That's how mine is too. What'd you end up doing with them?

Bending them slightly toward the front of the car seemed to work
