Strange Noise and High RPM after TB change

After changing my timing belt and replacing my water pump as I was bleeding the cooling system I turned the car on and off multiple times. After getting it bled, I turned it off one more time to run inside and get my wallet to take it on a drive. When I went to start it up this time, it would turn over but wouldn't stay on. After I got it started the RPMs jumped to 3000 then would come down if I got on the brake. Along with that giving it any throttle at all the car would make a whoosh noise like it has a turbo. The idle is rough now and its around 750-900. Any idea on what this could be?

M20b25? Sounds like a bad vacuum leak to me. Dod you tighten the clamps after the afm and before the tb? How about breather hose from valve cover to tb? RPMs still lingering high?

Yeah, air leak. Did you put the reinforcement bracket back on the intake?
Those bolts go into it, and make a great place for air to leak in...

Or the brake booster nipple's come off. Or I guess, the booster failed. But that's unlikely.

I realized I forgot to put the bracket that goes behind the top timing belt cover. After taking off the ignition cap, and reinstalling the bracket, I put on the bracket to tighten everything down to realize there is still a gap between the head, top timing belt cover, and the bracket. I am still getting the high revs, and now the occasional dying. I didn't touch the afm during the install or the breather hose to the valve cover.
