    Identifying Wiring -- Question

Hey. So a little background. I'm doing an m20 325i whole engine swap into a 1985 325e. I have mostly everything hooked up and ready to go, I'm just confused on what these wires may be.

Picture 1 - both wires are coming from the fuse box, and are connected; Kind of long in length (One looks like a ground to something, and the other is round female plugs.

Picture 2 - Both coming from firewall.
Picture 3 - Both coming from firewall (looks like to starter maybe?)
Picture 4 - also from firewall, and long in length.

    Thanks for any help!

The idle control unit is for 84-85 318i, 84-87 325e's only. You don't need that if you're running a 325i engine and electronics.

      Thanks!

Anyone else can help me identify the wires?

I don't have an E30 in front of me at the moment, but ...

Picture #1 - do you have your auxiliary fuse box? Those might be feed wires for that. Check and see if they have +12V on them with key off and/or key on. If not, check for continuity with ground.

Pictures #2,3,4 - Those look like they connect to certain components of the 13 button OBC system - the alarm horn, the temperature sensor, and I forget the third item.

The circular ones look like the go to the outside temp sensor in the driver side brake duct. 13 button obc?
