    does this plug into somewhere?

    Hey there folks....

so I was tugging on hoses and I think this might have unplugged from somewhere? i can't figure out where it goes. it was tucked under/near the intake manifold.

it plugs into this, i think this is the idle air controller?:

sorry can't figure out how to get the images to show up here.

My car has been giving me a check engine light and i'm wondering if this could be a cause?

    thanks for the help!

there is a nipple on the bottom of throttle body (on the flange portion behind the switch so hard to see). probably got a big vacuum leak and unmetered air because of that being not connected

you can see on the right here. when installed on the car its on the lower edge of the flange

and just for the sake of clarity, here is a view of that part on your engine without the intake manifold or throttle housing installed. You can see it has an electrical connection to the same bundle of wires that has the idle control valve connector as well as one more. Additionally, there is a rubber hose that runs to the charcoal canister I believe.

^ you're spot on with your advice up there. plugged that bad boy into the nipple on the throttle body and she's running a lot smoother and idling at a normal RPM.

          Thanks again!
