m20 with 184k blow rod at 2k rpm

The motor ran perfectly with bolt on mods. It was at the body shop for two weeks, then 20 easy miles down the road it blows up? Had used .5 quart of oil an was driven 60 miles while at the shop, WTF? I cant prove anything, but this is just wrong from what I know of the m20 bottom end. It put a hole in the crank case at almost idle while turning around.

Well, if you can prove it was driven 60 miles at the shop (in processing receipt) you might have a case in small claims court. There's no reason a body shop would need to put that mileage on it.
