No, the e plug and the I plug are different, not to mention the fact that the e harness has very little in common with an i.

They pop up for pretty cheap sometimes.

so if i were to get an "i" harness and ecu i could switch them?

You can put an I harness and computer on an e. But you have to get all the sensors and parts that the I uses in order for it to work. You cant use e sensors anymore, and the I takes crank readings from a sensor off the front of the motor which you need, etc.. there are some other threads about it if you search around.
