    M20b25 turbo

    Hi,

Just wanted to ask, is it possible to turbo at (10psi max) the m20b25 with all stock internals? would it be reliable? what changes need to be made if not ALL (everything standard) such as stronger gasket, manifold, exhaust system etc? newbie here so simpler explanations are appreciated thanks :D

What is your scale on this?
    Compared to stock? no.
With a well sorted engine? moderately so.

Welcome to R3v, there is A LOT of pertinent information already on here for you to sift through. Best of luck on the project.

I have turbo'd tons of stock m20's, they take it well, many of them daily drivers. With a stock gaskets and head bolts, definitely keep it at 10-12psi on a compressor under 60mm, I have had good success with stock engines with o-ringed blocks or MLS gaskets and ARP going much higher than that on good sized turbos.

Echoing what Firebird said, you don't need much under 1 bar for a moderately sized turbo. It will be reliable as the components you buy in the system and tuning - emphasizing on tuning.
Engine won't need anything but ARP headbolts to keep the head from lifting.
