where is the fuel pump relay in 87 325is? can't locate

hey all


so i'm suspecting that fuel pump relay or main relay may be the culprit to my no start issue.

the problem is i can't find them. i've looked online and it's not at the same location as shown on the web.

here's a pic what i found and I definitely don't see it there either exposed or in a box.

That's where they are underneath the black plastic cover.

How about you post a pic of your engine bay, same area. Maybe someone sees something you don't.
