So I came across this old 85 325e e30... total project car, Rims and tires worth more than the price I paid, but was able to get it for only $300. No rust, one dent in fender, partially stripped, lots of electrical work..
Have died to have an e30 since I was a young teen. Finally Have the funds.
The e30 turns over, does not start. Previous owner said it just didn't get any spark. First thing I looked at was the ignition coil, idk why... right off the bat the plug at the ignition coil from the spark plug wires had the actual pin broken off into the coil... hopefully it's that easy of a fix, highly doubt it. So I ordered a new coil and set of wires..
Also received the car with no belts, I wil be deleting the AC and power steering as well as the heater core. Will be made into a track car, hopefully go S54 swap but I'm not sold on it yet.
Had a question about what is missing in both of these pictures. The radiator has 2 plugs and only 1 plug with anything.. read that it could be one is for Low, and one is for high for the radiator setup? I just ordered my Bentley manual yesterday, so ill have it into a couple days.
The other is a plug on top of the air filter, not sure what goes there either.
Trying to get this m20 running to sell it for money to go towards a s54 swap.
