    PCV Valve Defective?

    Engine trouble rough running-fault code "Check Engine Soon" displayed.
    Wondering if the cold weather has frozen my PCV Valve creating a rough running situation! How about thoughts to resolve the problem.

      Nope - E30s don't have PCV valves! Just a hose from your valve cover to the throttle body. Does it run rough after warming up a few min? Otherwise could be a bunch of different things (vacuum leaks, ICV, AFM, etc.).

          Gawd, why did they not continue the fine M20 tradition when they stuck a twin cam head on it?????
