Camshaft recomendations

Car is a 90 325i 4dr barn find

We got it running over the weekend, but its going to need some head work. While we have the head off we both thought it would be a good idea to put a cam in. I just did some reading on bimmerworld's website about different grinds, and I wanted some feedback on what would be recommended.

The car will be a daily driver, and will see the track occasionally as he instructs HPDE.

How much is TOO much cam for the street?

Anything else that should be done? springs? software?

all depends how much you want to build it up, what's your goal and if e30 needs to be spec cars for your track use.

If rebuilding the head, I'd do th following as a minimum: check valve guides (most likely new EX guided will be needed) check and recut valve seats and valves, new OEM springs, new rockers ans camshaft, resurface head.

New engine management is nice to have as well.

For the cam selection, I would do anything aggressive with stock bottom end. Look thru this link for different setups and dyno result:
