    Fuel system cleaning?

I bought an eta a few months ago. Car had been sitting for 2 years. Fuel comes out brown before the fuel filter. Is there a way to completely clean the fuel system so that I can prevent more bad fuel from going in? I think that’s what causing my idle to be rough. Maybe new fuel pump or something?

Sounds like your fuel tank has rust in it.

You really should remove the tank to properly clean it, which is possible if it's light surface rust VS scaling. If you don't do it your filter will get plugged but likely not before it burns out one or both fuel pumps.

Drain the tank from the bottom. Take the level sending unit/suction off the top of the tank. Use a flash light and look in the tank. See rust remove the tank to replace or have it cleaned and coated. No rust flush system with good gas till clear by running pump and putting return line into bucket. Be prepared to have to drop the tank.
