    325i starts but then stalls

I tried starting my car today and as soon as the car starts, it stalls. If I give it a little gas, it immediately jumps to 3000 rpm and stays there if I barely keep the gas pedal pushed down. Once I let go it drops and stalls. Today, my car was rattling under the car which feels to be the exhaust. Could the stalling issue be related to an exhaust leak?? I highly doubt it but I'm not fully sure. I'd assume it's fuel related. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking more electrical, I would check the throttle position switch, then the Idle Control Valve (and related hoses).

Doesn’t the engine idle at 3000rpm if you unplug the idle control valve?

Thanks IRON-E, you're probably right from how the car acts, I'll check the fuel pump later today. Really appreciate it!

I wouldn't have thought about the throttle position switch, I'll look into both the TPS and ICV. Thanks for the advice!

That was literally the issue. idk how but my ICV popped out from the throttle body connection

Thanks Tomstin, it ended up being the ICV. Somehow it was disconnected from the throttle body.
