    You can use some aluminum compatible 2 part epoxy for the quick fix.
    Needed the regulator because car would lean out a touch at high RPM, honestly it was so very long ago lol, had it dyno tuned and with it cranked up a touch it consistently made more power...think it was putting something close to 175 at the wheels.

      Wow...too bad the well built BMP regulator is shot...but I used it’s VDO gauge on the cheap eBay replacement.

      Totally fixed the idle and rich running issue!
