    Haven’t done it on an M20, but the starter/Cheater bar trick worked great on an m42.

      this is how i removed mine.. came out effortlessly

      like i said, long bar + box end wrench on "alignment cylinder" for flywheel (whatever that's called) and spin the crank around to a position where you can wedge the wrench in on the motor stand

      easy!
