Throttle response with the MAF is amazing, at any speed as soon as you hit the throttle the car starts to accelerate. No waiting the stupid flap in the afm to swing open. It seemed to me that the car gained some power, but it could just be that the engine is so much more responsive.

Seeing Miller having the MAF kit for under $300 just might make it worth the money.

Still a lot of dough for 10 HP and some throttle response.

$600 for that kit? Fuck no.

couldn't tell you how well it works with a single throttle body, since i have ITB's, but i'm pretty happy! fear not the wiring, it's not too big of a deal. just don't hack it. if you wnat ot see how not to do it, i'll show you pics of the install from the po. butt splices every run of wire (a min of 2-4  ) & i like red wire so i am going to use it on everything!

10HP for $300 really isn't that bad a price. I imagine that the higher the state of tune the bigger gains you would realize.

need a special chip to run it which is no good for a modded car. It would be better if the MAF that had the identical airflow v voltage relationship as stock car

I dont think u will pick up 10hp just from a MAF conversion... IMO.

              I think mainly Throttle response.

Yeah, I agree. I am just going off of Millers' site. Perhaps their chip has some better mapping...I dunno.

I could easily see a set of 19lb injectors, long tube headers + catback and a MAF conversion causing 20HP more to stumble out of the M20B25, maybe more.

Fuckitall, I am just gonna do MS. I have a spare car, so I don't care. My poor old motor is so tired and leaky, if it blows up I am out nothing.
