    MAF Conversion

I have not seen much talk here re: MAF conversions. I would imagine that the stock AFM is restrictive. I did read somewhere about a Miller MAF conversion kit.
Anybody here ditched the AFM for a MAF?

RS4Pro aka Eli has done it. He's down in your neck of the woods. TN if memory serves me.

A few other people have done this but you need software or run the SS setup which uses the HFM or MAF from a 5.0l mustang. It's a Bosch part.

done it, split second via BMP parts from previous owner. prob gonna ditch it and go with a stand alone and a map sensor insted less bs=more tunability. btw their conversion uses a 89-90 ford tbird maf.

if you know what you are doing the car won't be down for more then a day. Of course I've researched maf conversions for probably 4 years before I finally did mine.

Yes the split second one. I'm not too mechanic sauvy so I tend to delay projects as long as i can.

I do want to do this install but the wiring is what is making me uneasy

Ive heard great things about MAF's and throttle response. Not sure if they increase power by to much though. Rs4pro knows better obviously.
