How much is a 130k M20 engine worth?

I'm doing a little planning here and I'm curious to know if you guys could tell me the value of an M20 engine with 130k would be. It actually has 120k on it right now, but I'm not planning on swapping until next winter, so I wanted to allow for that mileage. I'm about to do $400 worth of maintenance on it to get it running in tip top shape and ensure it's reliable for me over the summer. When I do sell it will include all the accessories.

        Camshaft Seal
        Camshaft O-Ring
        Rear Transmission Seals
        Rubber Shift Boot
        Valve Cover Seal
        Throttle body heater gasket
        Input Shaft Seal
        Rear Main Seal

        Belts & Hoses
        Coolant Hoses
        Timing Belt & Tensioner

        Spark Plugs
        Exhaust Stud
        Thermostat
        Water Pump
        Oil Filter
        Fuel Filter

IMO $150-300. youre not going to be able to sell a complete setup, you need youre wiring for whatever motor you plan to swap to. ask funkmasta what he would pay for one, that gives you a fairly good idea.
this is why i was telling you to save your money and swap now, not dump twice what the motor is worth just to try to get your money back later, wont happen.

OT: these last few posts of your have been very newbie, should try searching first before you start a thread on it, captain number cruncher.

From the going rate I have seen $500 shouldn't eb a problem.

Ah I forgot about the wiring, I will have to keep that. Joe wouldn't and doesn't pay anywhere near what a private party would, as he needs to turn a decent profit in order to make it worth his time. I'd swap now but I really don't want to rush things. I already know I'm going to turbocharge the M50 when I swap it in, and with that in mind I'm considering prepping it for that application. That's going to take some time, as well as careful planning, and I really want to get it running and driving for summer (the real reason I'm spending the $400). Quite a few things on that list I'm going to have to do either way, so I really shouldn't be factoring that into the cost of engine maintenance.

gonna be pressed to find anyone that will pay over 400 for a stock m20, regardless of what you put into it. fix the guibo and drive it, save your money for whatever swap you think youre gonna do.

Honestly, if you are sweating the sale value of the m20, and 400 into it, you shouldnt run a turbo setup. Turbo will cost you money and time. And 400 is pocket change.

That being said, the blocks vary from 250-500. Depending on how complete it is when you try to sell it and what accessories are included.
