    What would be nicer

What would be nicer for an engine management setup.....

    Using the factory wiring harness

    Or

Making a new one using new Bosch connectors, and Raychem heatshrink and wire?

    (all on an m20)

I'd say a trimmed down/modified stock harness would work just fine [and be cheaper].

what EMS are you using? I'm going to use the entire stock harness for mine. no reason to mess with it unless you have damage to the eletrical system.

I would have figured on a genius such as yourself being able to find the pinouts...

I would, but i dont want to pay another 25 bucks for the online bmw dealer info..........but it would take a multimeter and some time to get it without any extra info.

You find pinouts for free, dingle berry

I've had to find 4 different sets of them and it takes all of 90 seconds, even for something that's a lot rarer than a 325i.

Werd, I had an Italian car that I drove daily for a little over 3 years, and the only electrical component to ever leave me stranded was a Bosch voltage amplifier for the ignition!
