So where do you guys put oil temp, and also oil pressure ? just out of curiousity.
I was thinking a E30 M3 oil filter housing, which has the provision for the oil temp sender in the Cluster ? correct me if I'm wrong.
but oil pressure, I haven't thought about, figured just in one of the oil lines ?

You can put the water temp sensor in the thermostat housing. Pick one of the two extra plugs on the housing. The temp sensor will mount there.
You can get an oil temp sensor that replaces the drain plug in the oil pan.
For the oil pressure sensor, you can get a adapter block that goes where the stock idiot light sensor is on the passenger side of the engine below the oil filter. The block will have two threaded ports that allow you to attach the stock pressure sensor and add the aftermarket sensor as well.
I've been running my dedicated track car this way for several years now with out any complaints.
You can get all the parts from places like BMPDesign, Bavarian Auto, Turner Motorsport, Pelican, etc.Jeff B.

In any case, it would tell you much because the water pump pressure and flow is constantly changing with change in RPM and temperature. Getting any kind of reliable baseline would be real difficult.
HAHAHA we are talking about the windshield washer fluid pump, not the water pump in the engine....read the thread LOL!
