Driving my E30 around today and I noticed it was at 2000RPM just going along at 50MPH. Does this sound about right?
BTW: It is a stock 88 325i Cabrio automatic.

my suggestion: switch to manual. 2k@50 sounds right but not sure because i have a eta and it runs at like 1.5k@50 damn low gear ratio -
sounds normal to me, with a 4.10 and automatic overdrive (.74 I believe, vs .83 for the manual). Mine is about 2200rpm in 5th with a 4.10.Comment
