You could jumper the fuel pump relay and see if that allows the car to start. But even if that works you need to find out why things aren't working as they should be.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

i had this problem there is an voltage protection relay above the abs unit under the dash on the drivers side pull the relay and pull the cover off the relay and see if there is a burnt connection

Ive got the same problem. What color/ how many pins does this voltage protection relay have?

          terminal 86- 1 green
terminal 30a-1 red/yellow- One of these is an ignition input to the cpu
          terminal 30-1 red
          terminal 31-1 brown
          terminal 31b-1 brown/yellow

when you open the case pay attention to terminal 30a if there is an open circuit to 30a you wont get power to your fuel pump.

lemme know how this worked out when i bought my car i had to find this one out on my own.

awsome thank you. just to make sure is this the one with an aluminum housing mounted above the abs computer?

hey homegrown what do you mean by "pay attention to termianl 30a if open circuit to 30a you wont get power to furl pump" how do you check that??

yes it has the aluminum cover and once you pull it off then you look for terminal 30a and see if the wire on the outside of the coil going to 30a is burnt out

replaced the main and fuel pump relays and check out the over voltage protection relay. all should be well but it still wont get power to the fuel pump. I am also not getting power to the spark plug coil. Time to trace wiring for voltage.

im getting power to everything it seems but just no ground at the computer. Ive exhausted all my ideas so I guess its back to trying out another ecu.

im pretty sure its that voltage protection relay i had the same problem with the same exact symptoms and did everything you guys are doin and it was that damn relay

would it be a bad idea to jump that relay? i took the cover off of it and it looked fine. although I didnt check its continuity....ill try that tonight. Did yours look obviously damaged?

Ok I dont know if anyone else is reading this anymore but I just tested out that voltage overload relay and its totally fine. the coil has continuity, the diode test fine, the switch is good. waiting on another ecu to see if that will help.

man i wish i could find mine to take a picture but yes it was obvious on the outside of the coil there should be a tiny wire jumping from one terminal to another tho i dont remeber which ones

                              effin' obc black box!!

so after hours of electrical diag and some much needed help from a friend I found that power was coming out from the ignition switch but not making it to the computer and ignition coil due to my removal of the obc black box. I guess it also takes power from that same circuit and routes back to the ecu and ignition coil. Once I jumped that connector the engine fired right up. Seriously humiliatingly relieving.

the obc has that anti theft code that will kill the ignition signal. you can bypass that all together by jumping that wire
