Not you if you are turning an Eta into a drifter .

About the ITB's , the most well known "kit" is from German tuner Dbillas and the set-up will cost about 10 times what your Eta is worth . Seriously .

Most that insist on running ITB's will get them from big displacement sportbikes like the Hyabusa and fab up their own set-up .

To see a set like this check out out John Volks site 666fabrication .

I would recommend not wasting the time and effort, just go turbo.

Screw the turbo. Just get a bottle.

On a serious note, there is something to be said for a well tuned NA setup, I have done 2 turbo setups on other cars and the outcome just isn't as rewarding.... Either way there are many who believe that you can easily match and outperform any ITB setup with an equally better plenum setup....

i have the dbilas itb's on my 2.7 stroker ,very nice setup. although, the tps is in a shitty spot if it goes bad, the manifold slightly overlaps the heater core outlet, and you should go with a maf conversoin also if you go this route. i have the old style split second piggyback controler (the one with the 4 knobs) not the greatest set-up in the world. wolf engine mgmt. is comming out with a stand alone that can control just about any function you need it too (a/c ETC ETC). they are also offering it with a plug and play harness for the e-30's. their system will allow you to go to a speed density set up and ditch the maf altogether. still waiting for this to come available to switch over though.

Have you considered going with a triple sidedraft carb setup with a standalone ignition system? Not too expensive and you'll get the ITB sound with great throttle response plus it's very simple to tune. ITBs are just way to expensive and the turbo does give better power, plus if you size the turbo properly you won't get as much lag as many people think and you get plenty of usable power. For a badass NA I'd go with carbs for sure.

Show me where to get an m20 triple side draft manifold.

yeah, thats not in the US. Plus price the manifold, then 3 weber 45's cost will be similar to an ITB setup.

Didn't the e21 have a carb'd m20? Can something from that be used? I know the displacement was 2L I have suspicions that the carbs might be too small. But something should work.
