Help correcting timing

    My cars been off the road for way to much of the summer. I need to get rolling! Anyone have more detailed advice on what luke said?

        Well, then I guess I'm lucky to be learning on an M20. I have no one to teach me, no one I know works on cars.

        I have to do it all through first hand experience. I wasn't expecting the timing to go off.

        So from the sounds of it, I should have to turn the cam more to catchup to the crank? I have the manifold off, can I use that to my advantage as far as looking at the valves?
