-Don't worry too much. If you want to look around you can find a s-eta bottem end (block, crank, rods + pistons, use everything else from the 2.5) from a '88 325 or 528e. It will bump displacement to 2.7 and lower the CR to 8.5:1 (from 8.8 ). That'll work well with the turbo.

-No, but it would be a lot easier if you did. You can leave the naked block in the car and tap new pistons in... and the crank from the bottem but you'd have to remove the subframe... I'd pull the engine.

what is the difference between a stroker M20 and the M20 in my car now? idk if this is a dumb question but i thought i would ask anyways. because it is confusing me.
