    Am I at TDC? PICS

    Is it close/good enough?

Also what chronological order should I be re-assembling my engine?

I have installed the head, exhaust manifold, water pump and timing belt tensioner.

Should I be doing next timing belt, timing belt covers, thermostat housing, intake manifold?

Yes thats TDC on the compression stroke .
    Thats what you want .

Your reassembly order is fine too .

Just remember on the t-belt to let the tensioner spring make its own tension , don't try and make the belt tighter by moving the tensioner out .

What work did you do , head gasket ?

Bought car with a few teeth missing on the timing belt ;), slapped on a rebuilt head.

So start with tensioner all the way to the left, route the belt, release the tensioner as far as it goes on its own and tighten the bolt?

Perfect...but make sure to rotate the engine about 5 full turns by hand (wrench, duh) and re-check belt tension before reassembly.

          Now get it done!
