    yet another stroker ?

what if i put higher compresion(sp) pistons on a stock eta crank and mated it with the "i" head. i dont really have the intentions of doin this but i was just thinking about it the other day. i know you cant just slap on an "i" head because the compresion(again sp) would be too low.

Well technically it would NOT be a stroker ...since you are keeping the same crank .
It would be a piston and head upgrade .

The whole deal with the 2.7 "i" engine is that you want to basically combine all of the "i" parts like the intake, exhaust, TB, AFM and DME along with the 2.7 crank .

Just adding the parts you mention to the Eta's bottom end will not yield the best results .

i know that from the head on would have to be "i" (intake manifold, throttle, etc.) it was just like a general idea kinda thing.

No, he said he would use a 2.7 litre crank.

but he already has a 2.7 crank.. so it's still a 2.7, and thus not stroked :p

semantics, yes. a 2.7i would be a more appropriate name.
