ehh....i would'nt consider a STI a ricer considering that they acually go fast....

Did i say STI? There are enough non-turbo automatic subarus around here that sound like the end of the world is coming really fast but dont really move any faster than a 320i... I know some of them are pretty fast, my mates one is 420hp..

and rather than make you search for stronger rocker arms ill tell you what he means

you either get stock ones or you get billet alum ones for ~1000 dollars for the whole set

Boxer engine with horizontally opposed pistons and a massive ass bigbore exhaust with "RICER" stamped all over it, thats why they sound like that =P

its the headers....

one side is a LOT longer than the other. If you get equal length headers on a wrx it sounds like crap ;)

They are one of the better sounding 4 cylinders in my opinion.

Yes, buy 12x new FEBI rockers. They redesigned them many years ago with an extra extrusion on the side to make them stronger. You don't need billet rockers, nor do I think you want to pay $1200 for a set of 12 of them.

You broke a very old rocker arm made of aluminum with who knows how many heat/stress cycles on it. New rockers will serve you well.

Stock springs are perfectly fine till 7100rpm or so, and no NA m20 thats streetable has any business up there as the power band is long gone.

anyone know how to prevent this from happeining? just adjust the valves to avoid it? i am scared of getting another 325i because of this problem...
