How does it cruise at speeds? What about at full throttle?

at speeds the only things i notice are that when i shift into a gear and let the clutch go there is like this sudden pause of power, it feels like the car is going to die right there, but then it suddenly comes back to life. and sometimes it gets hoppy or jumps around a little, im not sure how to explain it but thats what it does sometimes when you get low on the rpms and then give it gas. at full throttle theres really no hesitation, except for that pause of power, but you can feel that its not going at its all.

and then there is the clunking that i hear when im in gear. could that be the transmission mount or the center support bearing (drive shaft bearing) thats going? what things should i look for when im under the car to determine what its gonna be?

          thanks for the help.

clunking = CSB or flex disc

air filter/fuel filter and maybe a dirty (ie sticky) or bad afm. Spark plugs. At worst, Check the fuel pressure and/or replace the fuel pump(s). General maintenance.

                  1) cold start: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3XhNor6gxYc

                  2) idle with a warm engine: http://youtube.com/watch?v=EROJWAL8FW4 it also sounds like i got some whine from the power steering pump?

                  3) warm start: http://youtube.com/watch?v=bLPgODk5sb4

a great way to check for vaccum leaks is to get starter fluid and then crank your engine, get under the hood and start spraying around on the vaccuum hoses, if your idle goes up, thats where the leak is
