e36 325i rods in 2.7 stroker?

I installed non-vanos 325i rods (135mm) in my 2.7 stroker and found out the side of the rods won't clear the block. The taper on the rods is much less than on the 135mm M20 rods. It seems the only way to get these to work is to either grind down the side of the rod or the block. Anyone else worked a solution for this? I sure like the lighter E36 rods, but not sure I want to cut on them for clearance?

You have to let a machine shop do the cutting! dont try this your self
