eta block w/ i-head swap questions

I've read threads on this topic, but would like to open it up again for discussion...I need to make a decision soon as to whether the swap is worth while under my circumstances.

So, I bought an '86 325 for $425 (it threw the timing belt, so the head needs to be replaced, but the block is in good shape). Since I'm already in the market for a replacement head, I'm wondering if it's worth it to go the i-swap route. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of parts and approximate pricing for this particular swap?

At the moment, I still need to decide if the car will go to my girlfriend or if it will be up for sale, so that's another thing to consider...does the amount of work and the cost associated with parts outweigh any increase in resale value? Maybe it makes more sense to bolt a replacement e-head on real quick and just turn it around and sell it?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you aren't going to keep it then I'd say just drop another e-head on it. But if it was a keeper or DD I'd put an i-head on it for sure.

yea, we just ended up buying an e-head for 100 bucks. We figure the cheapest, quickest course of action is the best in our circumstances.
