As good as the immediate seafoam differences are, it is an alcohol based cleaner and this makes it eat away at the head gaskets, injector seals, and any rubber... which can be detrimental to the engine..

There are lots of good e30 Seafoam vids on YouTube. I would use the vacuum line coming off of the fuel pressure regulator that goes into the intake manifold.

I've run a can of Seafoam through my gas and one whole can through that vacuum line and the difference was VERY noticeable. Smoother idle and pulled noticeably harder.

If you put seafoam in your oil I'd recommend you change you're oil shortly after (maybe 100 miles) Although it is probably eating up some of the gunk in your engine, that gunk has to go somewhere (suspended in your oil) On top of that youve effectively thinned your oil down quite a bit.

Seafoam is a petroleum based product that will not damage an engine unless it had a pre-existing defect. Also, if you're going to run it into the intake thru a vacuum line, only use 1/3 can at a time (slowly), as any further volume at one time is just wasted. Keep one hand on the throttle linkage to prevent stalling. Recommend ingesting thru the fuel pressure regulator line also. If the "Check Engine" light comes on, disconnect battery power for one minute and reconnect.

Not true. Any deposits will be burned in the combustion chamber.

Unless you have a blown head gasket for instance...

"Dude"--why is it that whenever someone starts a new thread inquiring about something that's already been discussed it's time to shit on him for not doing a search, and then when someone adds additional info to an old thread it's time to shit on him?
