ETA block & head, "I" cam

Are there piston to valve clearance issues?

I have an ETA motor that i am building and i want to use an "I" cam and valve springs. Are the pistons going to come up to an open valve because of the higher lift of the "I" cam?

    Andy.

    For one Search.

But to help you out, no you wont have any issues with piston to valve contact... unless your timing belt breaks, ha.

Your eta camshaft only has 4 cam journals and the i camshaft has 7 so you will need to take your eta head to a machine shop to get the 3 extra oil holes drilled.
