    That is the bracket for the heat shield, for the motor mount on the exhaust side.

        Doesn't it get sanwitched between the motor mount and the subframe, It also has a heat shield on the exhaust side, to protect the motor mount. I left em' off when I did eurethane motor mounts....

            Haha...I did the same thing puting my heat shield stuff back in today. Motor mount heat shield as everyone has said.

              It also has a heat shield on the exhaust side, to protect the motor mount. I left em' off when I did eurethane motor mounts....
              Leaving the heat shield off, especially with urethane motor mounts isn't a good idea. The heat from the exhaust can melt the mounts.

                Hmm... Should I put that on?

                I have the e30 m50 motor mounts from AKGmotorsports, and my headers are heat wrapped...
                I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.
