Who has actually swapped in an m20 into an m42 318. (help please)

I put an m20b25 from an 87 e30 into my 91 318i. everything is bolted up and it cranks. I have no fuel, and no spark. The #15 connector on the coil pack is for some reason a ground, and i believe it is supposed to be switch power.

I connected the motronic in the glove box but no of the other smaller plugs. None of them mated up, i;m not sure if i need them.

Do I need to change some of the pins on the c101 chassis harness connector?
I need any info you guys can give me. I am totally stumped, and i miss driving my car.

    Thanks.

Those smaller plugs are whats screwing you at the moment.

IIRC those smaller plugs are the MPG signal, tach signal, and DME ignition signal for one, A/C input for another, and another one is a mystery. (Something to do with speed input? not needed)

Also, C101 will bone you a bit as well. Your ABS will stop working as well as the unloader relays until you get that straightened out.

It's not a difficult swap, but if you don't know that stuff, (or have someone like me to call up, like my friend who did the same swap did ;) ) you'll be pulling your hair out for sure.

Need some help figuring out the ETM?
