    Cooling problems

I noticed after driving a bit of a distance that there was coolant on my shoe when I stopped. I have a leak under my dash somewhere. Anyone know what I'm facing here?

It might also be the heater valve or any of the piping. Either way you're in for a vey enjoyable hour or two of wrenching under the dash!

Yeah bro this should go on the, do this weekend list. Its only going to get worse. Make sure you order the hard lines that come through the firewall and the o rings. The hard lines are usually the culprit for the leak so just get in there and check it out. And seriously don't leave it sitting because its most likely due to rust and it can only get worse. It won't fix itself.

          Good luck

Not to mention the nasty results of getting coolant in your carpet. It will never leave and will cause all kinds of nasty smells and mustiness and rot.

A quick fix for a leaking heater core is to clamp off both heater hoses. A couple of pairs of small needle-nose vice-grips works nicely.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Damnnit. I have no time this month. Atleast there's only a couple of drops and not a flood of coolant. Quick fix for now.
