What are you confused about? The pattern? How the torque is applied? What?

how the torque is applied. it gives a -0 in the subscript and a +4 in the super script. does the +4 mean +4 degrees?

do you have torx or standard head bolts? the torque specs are different between the two

thanks i got it figured out. i had the hex and our heavy machinery mechanic told me how to read it. it said 30lb ft up to 34 but no less than 30. and i fucked it up and snaped the head bolt in the block and so then i just decided to follow the advice of bentleys and just switch to the torx bolts. its been a long day. still gotta do my 5 speed swap too.

yeah man I've been in that boat before. Thats why its always a good thing to get some torx head bolts if you dont already have them. They are known for them to break the heads off. Actually, now that I recall, I hope you didnt torque the torx head bolts that much.

what did you torque the torx head bolts to??

You don't have to run the engine to do the third stage. This is not a M10/M30, thats old skool shit.

I usually wait about 5-10 between the 2 degreed angle pulls. I don't think you need to wait at all to be honest. Its just physically impossible to make a 180 degree pull in one shot.

just a bit of a side note: you didnt try to reuse your hex head bolts did you? i dont think anyone sells the hex heads anymore.
