fried wires and a relay question

my car wont start with the key anymore but all of the power comes on. i look off my steering colum cover i seen a bunch of fried wires. most if them go to a relay under the colum.... does anyone know if that could be my starting problem and what realy is that one and where can i find a new one???

any help?

That's your starter relay. Trace out and replace all the wiring that goes to it, as well as the relay itself.
