Going to look at a e car that might have a head swap; it's past history is a little vague but the motor has been worked on. Is there anyway to tell from just looking under the hood the difference between an "e" and "i" cylinder head?

If you are used to looking at them, there is a HUGE difference in intake port sizes, plus the shape is quite a bit different.

easiest way with the head on the car and the manifolds on would be to look at the casting number on the head.Originally posted by Ferdinand
