    Experience w/ reground cams???

I'm getting ready to put a new head together for my engine, and thinking about a ~288 regrind...

    its super-eta/i hybrid mill...

    thoughts, guidance?

i believe just a regrind requires modification to the rockers or eccentrics to run that cam, unless it's lower lift than it should.

a hard weld + regrind is better.

typically you'd use an over-sized eccentric to correct that, and worst-case that's a $100 from BMP... I'm sure they can be had for less.

will they give you a full print out of the cams specs, ie timing, lobe seperation, etc.?

My experience with topend was they didn't send me the cam I asked for, so I sold it and bought a schrick. ;)

Using reground cams is like hiring a retarded 5th grader to run your particle accelerator instead of Carl Sagan. Don't skimp: it's your engine's brain. Schrick FTW!

These guys are supposed to be the better of the regrinds.

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

indeed, i can vouch for these guys. they reground my subaru cams, no complaints.

i believe they can do a hard reweld and grind for the m20 cam.
