    Headwork

I'm swapping a 325i intake manifold and throttle body onto my eta motor, so I figured it would be a good idea to enlarge the intake ports on the head to match the i intake runners. Andy did the port work, and did a really good job, here's a few pics of the head.

              Sig worthy.

I am curious how this works, I may take my head back off and do this.

I did the i manifold/TB swap before on my old eta without doing the port matching, and still saw a decent increase in throttle response, and a little bit more power up top. That was also on a non-chipped car. Should be interesting to see what it nets.

Josh, did Andrew unshroud the valves a bit too? Can we get a shot inside the intake ports? Gonna touch up the exhaust side too?

Because I like to hot tank parts that could hold small particulate matter that could gall the bore surfaces of the cylinder wall, etc. Sure would suck to put it all together, then chew up a piston ring.

Luke, I only port matched the intakes, nothing more.

And as far as particles, we stuffed bits of rags into the ports to keep out chips and then taped a plastic bag over the rest of the head. Nothing got anywhere it shouldn't have been. Not to mention we vacuumed up any shavings as we went along.
