Engine Ticking help?

i pulled valve cover, no evident evidence of broken rocker arm, so im confused???

it runs on 5 cylinders, and sounds like one's broken, but they all look good?

any advice?




(btw, if you havent figured it out, project325ese and i are in this together wokring on it lol)

make sure all the rocker clips and retainers are seated/intact

ya.. ive got a noise similar.. deff valves, but in most of the videos ive seen on here.. everyone has it.. i have 280,000 miles on mine, head gasket is a lil leaky, where do i start? or is the 24v swap worth it if im going forced induction later on?

Nah that's good news. It still seems like it's skipping or something like that.
Like it's running running of five cylinders or something...

If one of the cam lobes is VERY very worn (from oil starvation) it will cause a misfire-like condition, and the extra slack would cause the noise on the rocker

well, i messed with the rocker arms, and they seem to have some play in them, is that normal?

Messed with it some more last night, everything looks ok...
Found a guide on how to do the valve adjustment...heard if we
do it wrong i"ll get f'ed in the a because it'll make everything worse..

they should have SOME play, but not that much

I'll come look at it... well I might, while I'm checking out parts, prob next week
