Engine Ticking help?

    sounds like mine when i had 2 bad rod bearings take a stethoscope and go make sure the noise isnt down at the oil pan (couldnt hurt to try)

      I dont quite understand.. good news for me? Sorry about that.. didnt mean to be a thread stealer, but this issue has plagued me for some time, causing me to turn down quite a few nights at the track.. any help guys?

          Valve Tick

          I had a valve tick. Valve adjustment was fine. Compression was good on all cylinders. People listening said run it. Second shift at 6,000 resulted in what you can see at the following:

          If your tick does not go away with a valve adjustment pull the head.

          It was an expensive racing lesson.
