not good. ok here is the story
a few years ago i bought a 90 325is with the budget stroker. the wiring was a sketch job but it ran great. this past summer it just started cutting out on me while driving, and then one day wouldnt start at all. i brought it to my mechanic (who mainly works on hondas and dsm's) and bought a complete 89 325i harness
only after he had ripped the old harness out did i realize the prob was most likely caused by the power wire to the inj harness. not a big deal i figured, and helped him install the new complete harness in the car
now where im at- harness is fully installed, the car does not crank, pump does not prime when switched on.
so- what changes are needed to be made to make this harness work? plz help! thanksOriginally posted by Mr Watsonsilverdriving boards?

if you know your fuel pump doesnt kick on test it first via bentley spec. If its dead replace that. Make sure you replace the filter too if you havent. Then try it again.
Check for spark and make sure your coilpack is to spec.
You also want to check your CPS Its by the ac compressor, but hte connector is under the pin plug in next to the manifold. Test it to see if its via bentley spec.
