does anyone have a way to remove the cam sprocket with the t-belt already off? I am mid-replacing my timing belt and need to replace the cam seal and o-ring, but the cam wont stay still for me to remove it. And ideas?

Deep 10mm socket through the cam cog (sprocket) on a breaker bar or ratchet on the retainer bolt to lock the cog.I'm Not Right in the Head | Random Rants and other Nonsense1st Order Logic Failure: Association fallacy, this type of fallacy can be expressed as (∃x ∈ S : φ(x)) → (∀x ∈ S : φ(x)), meaning "if there exists any x in the set S so that a property φ is true for x, then for all x in S the property φ must be true". -

What ever you do end up doing don't spin the camshaft.I'm Not Right in the Head | Random Rants and other Nonsense1st Order Logic Failure: Association fallacy, this type of fallacy can be expressed as (∃x ∈ S : φ(x)) → (∀x ∈ S : φ(x)), meaning "if there exists any x in the set S so that a property φ is true for x, then for all x in S the property φ must be true".Comment

That's a bit overkill. An air ratchet would work if the head is off, but I wouldn't risk using it if the head is still bolted down as it may spin the cam.
Or just place it between 2 of the bolts and hold it there. Just crack all the bolts free first before removing them all the way so you always have 2 to use.Byron
