    reseting check engine light???

    How do you reset the engine check light and the inspection light???
    please help me

          The Service Indicator reset can be done by what is presented on http://www.unofficialbmw.com/repair_faqs/sil.html

          "Resetting the Check Engine light" is accomplished by determining what fault codes are present and repairs as indicated.
          The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

              The MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light AKA Check Engine) will go out on DME 1.3 ~ 1.7 (all e30 systems with an MIL) on its own when the problem is solved.

              Codes are not stored like in later generations.
