    Cat question?

I have a 86 325es and I thought it had two cats on it but I guess it doesn't so if it doesn't have two which one is the cat the one closes to the front of the car or the one closes to the back of the car?

The cat is always closest to the engine. They work better the closer they are to the hottest gasses.

The catalytic converter on this car is the large object on the down tubes just after they merge.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          I believe you're talking about a resonator.
